Hi! We’re Brittney and Woodrow. We met in 2013 on the first day of college and have been traveling the world together ever since. Our travels began with weekend trips around the Hawaiian Islands (where Brittney is from and where we went to school) and quickly expanded to international destinations like French Polynesia, Japan, and Indonesia.
But our lives changed forever when we went for an exchange semester at a university in the French Riviera for the Fall of 2016. Country-hopping around Europe had us hooked, and basically, we went running back as soon as that semester ended. We spent years roaming some of history’s most famous sites, many of the most beautiful spots in the world, and some of the most magnificent tiny villages you’ve never heard of.
Along the way, we got married, became travel writers, and experienced more than 30 countries together. We recently moved back to the states and and are based in Colorado Springs, enabling us to see all kinds of new things.
We’ve written plenty of stuff for other sites, but we started RoamRelaxRepeat to share the things we’re truly passionate about with any other travel enthusiast who’s interested.
What We Write About
It’s just the two of us here, and we only write about things that we’ve actually experienced. We aren’t motivated by anything except the desire to do and see cool things; our tips, reviews, and opinions are always honest. We will never use AI to put anything on this site, and we write because we enjoy it.
All that said, these are some of the things that we like to write about:
- Destinations – Big and famous ones, plus lesser-known and never-heard-of places; the “Roam” part.
- Wellness & Relaxation – The “Relax” part, opposite of roaming, for people who like to stop and indulge.
- Hotel & Resort Reviews – Honest opinions of notable accommodations that we’ve been lucky enough to try.
- Points & Miles – Free travel is the best kind of travel, and it’s not that hard to navigate.
- Loyalty Programs & Brands – Getting rewarded at your destination is a wonderful feeling, and it’s not too complicated either.
- Military Travel – Woodrow is Active Duty, which comes with a whole bunch of additional perks when traveling that some may not be aware of.
- Road Trips – Our favorite method of seeing the world for many reasons.
- Money-Saving Methods – Because we are not rich travel influencers, but refuse to compromise on the quality of our vacations.
The concept of Roaming, Relaxing, and Repeating fits our style well. We love to see the sights and have adventures. We also love to stop, relax, and perhaps do a bit of nothing in stunning places. Then, we like to do it all again!
