Somehow, I ended up in Las Vegas not once, but twice this April. On my first trip, I spotted a new restaurant inside the MGM Grand: Netflix Bites. At first glance, it felt a little gimmicky. I’m usually not into themed pop-up spots, and that’s exactly what I assumed it was. But I’ve got to say — I was totally wrong!
On my second visit, this time with my parents, we decided to give it a try. We walked in for dinner and were seated right away in a super comfy booth, no reservation needed. I didn’t get a chance to check out the brunch menu, so I can’t speak to that, but dinner? It totally exceeded my expectations. Keep reading to hear all about the vibe, service, and what we ordered!

Design & Ambiance
As you walk in through a tunnel, it feels like you’ve been transported into the introduction of your favorite Netflix show. You know, the part where it goes “dun dun” and the Netflix logo pops up? I know you know what I’m talking about. I did think that was a fun touch.
Once inside, there are several booths, standalone tables, and a bar. The entire restaurant is color-washed with rich red, orange, pink, and green hues. You’ll immediately notice large works of art representing some of Netflix’s most popular shows and cult classics like Matilda, One Piece, and Squid Game.

Menu
I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive list of menu items. Just like the variety of shows you’ll find on Netflix, you can find dishes to fit almost any taste or preference. There were so many delicious-sounding things that it was so hard for me to choose! See above for menu photos.
Bar & Drinks
The bar was super well-stocked, and the signature cocktail list was expensive. The cocktails are pretty pricey, but that’s Vegas for you. I love that they had so many themed cocktails inspired by some of Netflix’s most iconic shows, such as Squid Game and Love is Blind. The above photos are just a few examples of the interesting drink options at Netflix Bites.

What We Ate (and Drank) at Netflix Bites
I ended up ordering an Aperol spritz and the Seoul Bulgogi tacos. While the drink menu looked fun and had a huge variety, the specialty cocktails were quite pricey. Plus, I can never say no to an Aperol spritz if it’s available. The spritz was delicious, but came in a smaller-than-usual glass.
The bulgogi tacos were the absolute star of the show. Honestly, some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The menu describes them as “soft corn tortillas brimming with bulgogi beef brisket, oaxaca cheese, and kimchi.” It comes with three tacos and a massive side of (cold) corn salad. The brisket was super soft and juicy and the tacos were absolutely stuffed with it! Well worth the price. The kimchi was blended into almost a salsa-like consistency, which was fun and something I’ve never seen before. I was super hungry so I was able to finish it all myself, but if I wasn’t, it’s definitely something that could be shareable. The corn salad was incredible, too. I give it a solid 10/10. I wouldn’t change a thing.
My mom got the Oahu, HI poke tacos, and my dad opted for the Peruvian pollo a la brasa. They both really enjoyed their meals. Of course, since we’re from Hawaii, you know my mom knows good poke. There also used to be a popular Peruvian chicken place near my parents’ house that we would go to all the time, and my dad said the chicken at Netflix Bites was even better.

Service
The service at Netflix Bites was fantastic. As I mentioned earlier, we were immediately greeted at the host stand and sat immediately. Our water was frequently refilled, the server was very attentive, and the food came out quite fast. It wasn’t busy while we were there (a Tuesday night), so I can’t speak on how the service would be on the weekend.
Final Thoughts

I went into Netflix Bites expecting a gimmicky, tourist-trap experience — and I couldn’t have been more wrong. From the immersive design touches to the unexpectedly top-notch food and friendly service, it ended up being one of the most memorable meals of our trip.
The themed cocktails, while a bit steep in price, were creative and fun to browse, and the variety on the dinner menu really impressed me. If you’re in Vegas and staying near the MGM Grand, I’d definitely recommend giving Netflix Bites a try — especially if you’re a foodie who also loves a good binge-watch. Just maybe skip the cocktails if you’re on a budget, and don’t sleep on the bulgogi tacos.
